A note from our Founder
Two teenagers graduated from the same high school and decided not to go to university.
Both were smart. Both were young and naive. Both had the same motivation - to pursue a life on their own terms. Both had access to the same self education via Youtube and the world around them.
Years later, now twenty-something, they reflected on their lives for the first time since high school.
They were still strikingly similar. Both working for themselves. Both had had their share of failures along the way. And both, it turns out, would be considered successful in the world of online businesses.
But there was a difference.
The first guy worked 8 hours a day in his home town. He was lonely and life felt stagnant. The second guy worked only when he felt like it and had just arrived home from a trip with friends, marking the 15th country he had lived in. He was fulfilled and on-purpose.
They were so similar, yet their outcomes were so different. What made the difference?
It wasn’t money. It wasn’t talent or dedication. It wasn’t even priorities (they both dreamt of travelling with leveraged income).
The difference lay in the people that each of the men surrounded themselves with. Their environment.
It's the same reason I started Art of Mondays; a community of people who like building cool sh*t while remaining a student of the world.
